King of the mountain goats. No other Capra species is more majestic, rare and sought after than the Markhor.

With only two tags available per year, Markhor are the most exclusive hunts we offer, and also the most expensive by far.

An 8 to 10 day itinerary is recommended for pursuing Markhor, but more days can be added easily and add-on hunt options of wild boar are available.

Season: October through February.

Hiking: Moderate to strenuous.

Weather Conditions: Moderate to Cold, depending on time of year.

Lodge Conditions: A range of lodge options are available, from a comfortable 8-room lodge, to a high-altitude village hut, to remote tent camping.

Stalk difficulty: Moderate. Markhor are somewhat easier to approach than their cousins, the Ibex. The landscape and cover available also make for a slightly easier stalk.
